This is Jacked Up!

Like 20% of the World's population I have Leg Length Discrepancy, OR LLD. Simply put, it means one leg is shorter than the other. Some people are born with LLD, others get it as a result of an injury, and every year thousands of people end up with LLD after having a knee or hip replacement procedure. In my case, my right leg is about 1/2 inch shorter than my left leg. I was finally diagnosed by my Chiropractor after suffering from chronic lower back pain for years! He explained that because of my LLD one hip was always higher than the other, which caused a curve in my lower spine - resulting in everything being out of place. Of course it hurt!

As a sufferer of Leg Length Discrepancy, I quickly realized there was a need for better solutions for people with LLD.  I wanted to step up and help people just like me by offering a pair of creative and innovative footwear solutions. These solutions solve issues plaguing the large majority of the population suffering from Leg Length Discrepancy.

This medical issue is so common that journals have shown that Leg Length Discrepancy affects as much as 90 percent of the world’s population. The mean Leg Length Discrepancy is 5.2 millimetres.

I’m one of these people - my Jacked Up Sandals represent a new addition to the marketplace and Jacked Up Insoles a significant improvement on a longtime product.
